Our goal on every Sunday is to provide a welcoming and loving atmosphere from the moment you enter into our church. We have greeters to welcome you in. Our minister, Rev JD Kennedy, generally goes around and shakes hands with people in the pews as a way of welcoming people into God’s house. While he is doing this our music team is providing toe-tapping inspirational music. Depending on the season, our church is decorated to create an atmosphere to draw you into the story of Christmas, or bring you to the cross on Good Friday, or deliver a message of God’s abundant blessings on Thanksgiving. All this occurs even before one even takes a seat in our sanctuary. Once you have made it to your seat, we have a sound system operated by someone to help you hear and video screens to enhance the message. When the service starts we have a choir and music director bringing us beautiful music. Together this creates a multisensory experience, when done right, to focus ourselves on connecting with God. During the service you will hear the Word of God in the music you hear, the songs we sing, the prayers we say together, the scriptures we read and the message you hear. During it all you will be surrounded by friendly people. Don’t be afraid to say hello, we love to get to know you.
